What makes a great accessory?  The year 2012 is filled with men who are fashion savvy, boys who grew up since the mid 80’s who rather not talk about Sharpie’d North Faces and ripped up Jansports.  We are men in which we’ve become more sophisticated, but still enjoy the simpler things in life, like denim and leather straps.  We, even I who was once obsessed with neon colors and UFO pants, have come to enjoy the minimalistic designs that surround us today.  Not only do we appreciate the design, but we take the next step to making our purchases.  But one thing separates us from the Lassie’s, the piece needs to last long. rolando-santana: It’s interesting how people work, some excel under pressure and others work better off alone.  We as people work differently, in fact no two minds are a like.  So as I stand across the showroom looking at Rolando, I can’t help to think what’s going through his head.  If I were to stand on top of his cranium, open ‘the window’ and look into his brain all I would be able to see are shapes, numbers and thoughts of “which music should I start the show with” and “which should be the opening dress”? It’s 8:40 P.M, 2 weeks away from our fashion show and Rolando sits at his desk sketching away, trying to squeeze in a few more designs in.  He’s totally zoned in and blocks out the ruckus of sounds of the sewing machine, scissors cutting or the chatter between the interns. It’s 8:40 P.M and we got work at 6:00 A.M.  Help us!
