Menswear.  It has seen many changes and no man would’ve ever been caught dead wearing a ring unless it was A) a wedding ring or B) an heirloom.  The only other time it was acceptable to wear a ring was if you were a hustler or a pimp, this is when a huge diamond ring would be seen either on the pinky or index finger.
But with time people pushed the boundary and broke ‘the rules’.  A person, an inspiration of many for that matter, who really moved forth with this ‘movement’ is Joshua Kissi, the 1/2 man behind the very famous menswear blog “Street Etiquette”.  He does things or styles himself like no other.  For example, his jewelry ‘game’ is unlike anything I’ve seen from a man.  It isn’t expensive per se, but the way he layers his pieces and illustrates it into his everyday wear is very interesting, I believe he really started the whole ‘fad’ of wearing multiple rings and sporting beads as a fashion accessory.  I also believe that he really brought into light of wearing fitted clothes to the ‘hip-hop’ community.  From New Era caps to fedoras and Sean John velor’s to cashmere blazers.  If anyone can do it, it would be Joshua.
He is an inspiration to me and many others.
