Fey.  She was the only person I looked forward to encounter each afternoon during Capsule Women’s Trade show.  While others wore black dresses she blessed the concrete cuts of New York with her brave and eccentric outfits sticking out as how I would if I were in Victoria Secret.  For lack of better sayings, she was a breath of fresh air after being deep under a repetitive cycle of chiffon dresses and Celine bags.  The way she puts together her outfit amazes me, almost talking to me.  Like a mood ring, her outfit represents, shows how she feels that day.
I decided to just upload her portrait for now, because I wanted you to remember her face and with her in your mind, to realize not to be afraid to dress how you feel.

I’ve always said, “the Japanese does everything better”.
H is the name and he came from Japan as a buyer to scope out the fashion here in the East coast.

Memories of him are vague, his name is forgotten but this photo etched in my mind for some reason.  Why it’s embedded in my brain I have no clue for the photo is nothing near my expectations.
Maybe it’s his awesome facial hair, the hole in his cardigan or his cigarette.. I guess I’ll never remember.

Perception, lightly defined as a way on how we understand certain understandings or see what one wants to visualize.  Here, the man in the photo presented to me was cool, eccentric and well dressed, to me and to others not so much.
During Capsule Women’s trade show, I decided to do an impromptu study on how women saw this man and their thoughts on his style.  Presented to one group of girls who I met 2 days prior responded in a way that surprised me.  They hated it.  The shoes, camouflage pants and his sweater… I was seriously appalled.  HOW DARE SHE!! I love camo pants and New Balance shoes.   They went on how a man should be clean, no camo pants and not be seen in those sneakers.
This was interesting because their from L.A, he’s from France and I’m from New York.  Oh how fashion works.

What will you be wearing this Spring?

Make it fun and answer in photos if possible.

Black is the new black.  Played out at times, but when done correctly, an all black outfit can become the most simplest form of pure brilliance.  Woven hat, lace top, sheer dress and a leather jacket, sounds repetitive on the streets of New York, especially during Fashion week, but I will state once again, when done right it looks magnificent.

The style presented above is a prime example on executing an outfit which consists of neutral colors without becoming bland or a bore.  The cut is clean, sophisticated and the red on the gingham scarf offers a pop of color to the outfits needs.
This is Jake Gallagher, the man behind the menswear blog Wax-Wane.  We met at the SoHo Grand if I’m not mistaken for what it seemed as an impromptu gathering of the #menswear intellectuals.
As far as I know he is cool and relaxed, just how his garments are represented and worn.

It’s funny how social media brings people of the likes together, for instance, Steven and I met via Tumblr messaging me that he likes my work and if I was going to be in Lincoln Center that we should proceed to gather.   We became good friends ever since.
Steven Onoja.  A fairly new blogger who is making moves in the world wide web with his definition of style and we like him here over at Lavish-Livez because he really shows that you don’t have to spend big bucks to look good.  He thrifts a lot.  In the photo above, he mixes two different kinds and shades of camouflage, yet it works in a weird sense because of the beige jacket worn over the garment.  Nothing in his outfit really matches but everything really plays a role and sets in quite nicely.
I photographed my friend Steven of Ostentation and Style during Capsule Womens show.
