An excerpt from latest footwear review.
“The Veblen shoe wouldn’t be complete without it’s longwing design, which is the icing on the cake.. unless you like cake without its icing, weirdo. Starting from the heel, the longwing design glides along both sides meeting at the toe box exploding, forming to what it seems to be an owl faced character . Wait for it …..*hoot hoot*. Quadruple stitched isn’t as common as it should be in the world of footwear, but Florsheim seems to offer it on all of their wingtip designs even with such a low retail price, that’s not only outstanding but also impressive!”

Curran J.  This is a man of true style in which he can mix it up from suits to varsity jackets and still look sharper than a kitchen knife.  From full on Brooks Brother Black Fleece suit on one day to a high crop, Kangol hat wearing man the next.
NYFW F/W 12’ was the first time I met this gentleman and what really brought us together is the love for fashion and our difference in personality, we clicked not at ‘first sight’, but during a Blogger Night Out event.  We were among purses and lipstick, floating in a sea of shoes.. us, well we were the few suits and ties.  Being 2 out of 6 men at this event we just started talking and really got to know each other, learning about each others blog.  Being that we both have love for fashion and photography it was only right to show love on my blog and Tumblr.
This guy, for the lack of better words, is cool.

Footwear in the Men’s department has surely gone through an evolution in the past 4 years, from bright colors offered by Prada to sharp studs thanks to Louboutin.  I can’t help to wonder what’s next, which shoe is going to be the most worn or rather most photographed in Pitti next F/W.  If you would allow me, for a moment, to look into my 1 of 1 Thom Browne x Maison Martin Margiela x Lady GaGa crystal ball (hence the sarcastic voice) and forecast the footwear trend, I would put my money on the Florshiem by Duckie Brown shoes.
Featuring the infamous long wing brogue, Duckie Brown has added colorful beads to the brogue, but I think they added just the right amount…. but then again there is another version where it’s dipped in rainbow.
